That's what happened to the thief on the cross, who died a few feet from Jesus.
Heaven, How I Got Here by Colin S. Smith is the thief's story, told from his perspective, as he looks back from Heaven on the day that changed his eternity and the faith that can change yours.

Interactive, augmented outside

Easter Egg Hunt

In our churchyard/carpark

Anytime Saturday 4th April - Sunday 12th April

Augmented Reality Videos and a secret code cracker help children discover the real meaning of Easter as they hunt for the hidden eggs.

Join Sammy on a mission to uncover a secret Easter message.  Using a smartphone, children can “crack the case” by finding hidden letters through immersive Augmented Reality (AR) videos.

Children hunt for colourful eggs in our carpark and churchyard and use a Smart phone to watch Sammy reveal secret letters through hidden videos.

Once the Code Cracker worksheet is complete, the final egg unscrambles a special message explaining the true meaning of the Easter story.

How does the Easter Egg Hunt Trail work?

  1. Find the Eggs: Children find the five colourful Easter Egg trail cards around our carpark and graveyard.

  2. Scan & Watch: Use a phone to scan the QR code to launch the experience.

  3. Reveal the Hidden Letters: Point the camera at the question mark on eggs 1 through 4 to trigger a hidden video where Sammy reveals a secret letter.

  4. Crack the Code: Children record each letter on their Code Cracker Worksheet and then unscramble the letters.

  5. Watch the Story: On the final Gold Egg, watch a 2-3 minute animation and discover the full Easter message.

DON'T FORGET TO TAKE YOUR SMARTPHONE!
