Bognor Bible Week

SEEK YE FIRST - Bognor Bible Week September 2010

Bognor Bible Week was a fantastic series of events run by Christ for the Nations UK and held at the Alexandra Theatre in Bognor.  With a theme this year of 'Seek ye first' (Matthew 6.33), this week brought local churches, including our own, together for excellent teaching and inspiring worship.

Morning Bible studies were led by the former Archbishop of Canterbury, Lord Carey of Clifton, who also spoke one evening and taught on the Epistle to the Ephesians.  Every evening event began with a time of worship led by Rob Newey and his band members from local churches, and other visiting speakers included Greg Haslam, Robert Maasbach, Jennifer Larcombe, Raymond Pfister, and Reverend Ian Smale.  There were also many stands where Christian organisations and charities exhibited, from Mission Aviation Fellowship to Living Word Books and the nearby L'Arche.

Challenging and inspirational, these events and talks were a brilliant and thought-provoking experience for all who attended.
